IPTV: How to plan a successful implementation
|
Session presented by Alita Wong, Director, Strategy and Content, Broadband Network Systems Ltd
Telcos are fast becoming key players in the Pay TV market by providing IPTV services over their ADSL lines. As a number of IPTV services gain traction in Asia and elsewhere, some of the key success factors that have emerged include ownership of last mile access and a large broadband subscriber base which give telcos a key advantage in the race for customers' entertainment dollar. What are some of the alternative access technologies and what kind of network and content synergies could operators leverage? What are the business model choices that are geared for success? This session will give examples of innovative launches and provide a framework for planning a successful service roll out.
